Community Standards
At Truck Parking Club, we are dedicated to creating a community where Trucker Members and Property Members can connect, collaborate, and thrive. Our Community Standards serve as a guide to uphold the values that define our community and ensure a safe and respectful environment for all.
Your experience with Truck Parking Club begins with the assurance of safety. We expect all members to prioritize the safety and well-being of themselves and others.
- Physical or verbal threats, harassment, assault, or any form of violence will not be tolerated.
- Members affiliated with dangerous organizations, including terrorist or criminal groups, are not welcome in our community.
- We take seriously any indication of harm or abuse and work to provide support and assistance to those in crisis.
- Creating hazardous situations, speeding, or reckless vehicular behavior is strictly prohibited.
- Animals must be controlled by their owners at all times.
- Members are encouraged to use situational awareness and watch for truck traffic to ensure their safety and the safety of others while using Truck Parking Club listings.
- Members may not possess illegal weapons, use illegal drugs, or operate a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs while using Truck Parking Club listings.
- Truck Parking Club listings may not be used for illegal activity, unauthorized commercial operations, or the improper storage, use, or disposal of hazardous materials, fuel, or waste.
Truck Parking Club members share spaces and experiences, relying on mutual respect and trust. We expect all members to respect each other’s property, privacy, and personal information.
- Theft, vandalism, or extortion will not be tolerated.
- Members should not engage in spam, phishing, fraud, or any activity that undermines the security and integrity of our community.
- All payments for reservations must be made through the Truck Parking Club platform. Members may not solicit, offer, or accept payment outside the platform to avoid applicable fees; doing so forfeits Truck Parking Club’s support, protections, and dispute resolution for that transaction.
- Violating others’ privacy, including the unauthorized use of surveillance devices, is strictly prohibited.
Respecting the privacy of our members is essential to fostering trust and belonging within our community.
- Spying on or interfering with others’ privacy is not permitted.
- Property Members are prohibited from using security cameras or recording devices in private spaces without disclosure and consent.
- Unauthorized access to accounts or violation of privacy rights is strictly prohibited.
Fairness is the cornerstone of our community, allowing us to trust and respect one another’s differences.
- Discrimination, hate speech, or bullying based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, familial status, age, disability, military or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected under applicable federal, state, or local law is not tolerated. This standard applies to all interactions on Truck Parking Club, including a Property Member’s decision to accept or decline a booking request.
- Members should not disturb the surrounding community or persistently disregard neighbor concerns.
Authentic interactions and accurate representations are essential to building trust and fostering positive experiences within our community.
- Misrepresenting oneself or providing false information is strictly prohibited.
- Property Members should accurately represent their spaces and amenities, avoiding deceptive practices or fraudulent behavior.
- Property Members must have legal authority to list a property on Truck Parking Club, whether as the owner or through a valid lease, management agreement, or other written authorization. Listing a property without such authority is a serious violation of these Community Standards and may result in immediate suspension and referral to the property owner or law enforcement.
- Trucker Members are expected to follow Property Members’ rules while utilizing Truck Parking Club listings.
Truck Parking Club is committed to combating human trafficking and exploitation. We prohibit any involvement in human trafficking or exploitation of individuals within our community. If any member suspects or witnesses any activity related to human trafficking, they are encouraged to report it immediately to the appropriate authorities and to Truck Parking Club staff for further investigation.
Reliability ensures that members can confidently make commitments and rely on each other within our community.
- Providing uninhabitable spaces or failing to meet commitments, such as check-in arrangements or payment obligations, is unacceptable.
- All Members should maintain responsiveness and participate in conflict resolution processes as necessary.
Truck Parking Club members are expected to demonstrate common courtesy towards each other and the shared spaces within the community.
- Throwing trash or leaving trash behind is unacceptable. Members should dispose of trash responsibly and keep shared areas clean.
- Profanity should not be used towards any other Trucker Member, Property Member, or Truck Parking Club staff. Members are expected to communicate respectfully and courteously.
We reserve the right to remove any comments containing profanity or disparaging remarks. We believe in fostering a respectful environment where constructive criticism is welcomed, but abusive language or negativity towards others will not be tolerated. Together, let's maintain a space where feedback is constructive and contributes to the improvement of our community.
Truck Parking Club may investigate reported or suspected violations of these Community Standards. Depending on the nature, severity, and frequency of a violation, Truck Parking Club reserves the right to issue a warning, suspend or terminate a member’s account or property listing, withhold or reverse payments, and/or report the conduct to law enforcement or other applicable authorities. Truck Parking Club operates as a neutral marketplace connecting Trucker Members and Property Members and does not control, and is not responsible for, the conduct of individual members; we reserve these rights to help protect the safety and integrity of our community. These Community Standards may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in our community, our services, or applicable law, and continued use of Truck Parking Club after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised standards.
By adhering to these Truck Parking Club Community Standards, you contribute to creating a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment for all members. Together, we can uphold these values and build a community where everyone feels respected, valued, and supported. Thank you for your commitment to these standards.
