2 Date of Stay 9/18/26 - Nice lot. Nightshift security is a whole different job description. The pavement is fresh, the lot is clean, and theres actually room to swing a truck in California. Daytime this place is fine. Nighttime is where it falls apart. Security guard Manwell woke me up at 11pm because I was disconnected and bobtailed in front of my own trailer. Said it was causing too many issues and other trucks couldnt back in. There were no other trucks that had arrived after me. I wasnt blocking the flow. Nothing was happening except him inventing a problem. Pretty obvious what he wanted: hook up so I couldnt just hop out, use the restroom, and come back. There are no restrooms and no porta-johns on site, by the way despite what the listing claims. Day shift never said a word about the same parking setup. Only this guy. Then he parks his little personal car in a truck spot, leans the seat back, and starts dozing off. Peak performance. Waking a driver at 11pm over something this petty is overboard. Reconnected, pulled Trucker Path and Maps, and left for a spot around the corner that didnt come with a power trip. Day parking Sure. Overnight with this particular guard on duty Find somewhere else. There are cheaper and free options a couple minutes away.
