Arrived at site and had a gentleman pull up in a golf cart ask what I was doing stated I was there to drop my trailer for the night to go home. The n a conversation of 2 minutes he informed me that they are not responsible if my trailer falls over. I understand that anywhere I park they are not responsible for damages to my equipment. This left me feeling concerned that it had to be mentioned so much and decided that I would rather forfeit my booking fee than to park somewhere I was no longer comfortable with. Im not saying that there was a problem, but that it had to be mentioned about not being responsible so many times when the booking stated that dropped trailers needed supports, which I had informed the gentleman that I had. If he is that worried about possible issues, I would recommend that the ad be changed to no dropped trailers. My loaded trailer only had about 15k in it.
Property Member Response, Aug 24, 2026My understanding is the manager at the location wanted to make sure that you knew that a fully loaded trailer on a unpaved surface carries risks. I am pleased that he was so concerned for your equipment;s safety. that being said, I would be happy to refund you for the stay, I do not want you to pay money for our place if you didnt get a benefit from it. Please let me know how to send you a refund. We love our customers and care about their safety.
