This place is nice. I left El Paso Tx at noon and arrived here at 11ish pm with about 15 minutes out of my 11 hour clock and needed a place to stop. I saw this spot and it was perfect. I was tired and needed a safe haven since I knew there was a slim chance of finding a truckstop parking spot at 11pm in OKC. Its quiet because it is about a mile from I44. So you wont hear the hustle and bustle of cars and people commuting. The lot is part dirt and part gravel. The rear of the lot leads to what I would say is wilderness. Like I said, it is very quiet. It was a cool 64 degrees outside and with my truck turned off, i had some of the best sleep Ive had. Its a park and sleep area. No showers or restroom. Its a camp in your truck type of place. I will definitely choose this spot again next time I pass through here.
