This is the main freight route between Paris and Dover, with US-641 in Paris to the southwest and I-24 at Clarksville to the northeast. SR 140 and SR 119 both tie into US-79 at Paris Landing. The lot is concrete and gravel with two entrances off the highway and a separate drive at the back, so drivers can pull through instead of backing onto US-79.
